Five Minute Friday: Tired
There are
times when it feels as if my soul is old and tired, on the verge of numb, with
the need for rest.
Regrets and worries are the thing that tires my soul the
most.
We all tell
each other we will find rest …. Later ... “we’re just gonna …”.
But, what if, the
answer to rest is to, if even for a moment, not regret – let the past take care
of itself, not worry – it hasn’t happened yet.
What if rest is to be found in the one precious
moment we can be sure of: NOW?
Who is good at NOW?
Christmas is all about a child ...
To be like one is to live every NOW?
